AY cancellation refund policy - 24h waive?

AY cancellation refund policy - 24h waive?
I had to cancel a (value) ticket and I jumped on below text on AY site:
Jos varaus on tehty vähintään seitsemän päivää ennen lennon aikataulun mukaista lähtöä, voi sen perua 24 tunnin sisällä varauksesta maksutta. Ota yhteyttä asiakaspalveluumme.
Does this mean that there is really a 24h refund á la SAS of any ticket booked at least a week before? Anyone with real life experience?
I would love to use this mechanism (I like the 24h policy SAS/SK has), but if true I understand well AY keeps quiet about this
On a side note: the AY refund system really sucks compared to SAS. You need to fill a form and you don't even get a receipt without asking so you need to call their service number with cost.
