Is it doable - connection at HEL

AY880 CDG-HEL 12:20 - 16:15
AV825 HEL-FRA 16:55 - 18:35
I have only 40 mins to transfer. Pls advise!

If booked on one ticket, yes. HEL I/I transfers (in Schengen), minimum connection time is 35 minutes. I have success ratio about 85% making my 35 minute connection, would have been 100% if I would have had 40 minutes as you do.

You are on the last AY flight to FRA, but there are LH and SK flights later. Finnair will accommodate you to those in case you miss your connection.

The only question left is why would anyone want to travel CDG-FRA via HEL? Take a direct flight or better yet, the train.

Same reason I fly ORY-MAD via DXB/SIN/JNB etc etc

Its all about CPM

Yes, this is an award travel w/OW I'm also avoiding LHR like the plague.
