I never take exit in A319 or A320.

Not bad for you I suppose you take a free (coupon) vikingline ferry overnight, then SL to BMA/ARN and voilá you are in Helsinki after some backtracking with snus ferry, but that can be turned into some discount too so ultimately the LHR trip, if you calculate all lounge pampering, turn positive in the bottom line!

I snatched the right wing like Selänne. Someone already had left wing. You can play Center.
EDIT: we have "luottopakki" OH-LGG in the back anyway, harharhar

Well, this sounds like it is going to be a nice outing! ^

Sadly, I can't really see how to fit it in for me. What ever way I try to rotate the playfield, it will still require 2 hotel nights, ie "Mass tourism" to use LGG-speak
And/or bad positioning and/or expensive revenue flights.

I've also banged my head against AY+ stupid redemption rules - Even though there is plenty availability there is no way to redeem the trip. First, the well known and hated rule "no same day returns are allowed".
Sure, I can redeem two oneways CPH-HEL-LHR and back, but according to the rules, no stopover is allowed beyond first possible connection. Ie if I take last flight out of CPH friday night, I MUST redeem AY831 at 08:00. AY839 is not allowed. And if I take first flight out on saturday, then I miss AY839.

The return AY996 is arriving after midnight, and there are absolutely no flights to connect onto. First connection to CPH (which I am forced on if redeeming) is at 7am, so that is going to cost a full hotel night for 4-5 hours sleep. Not even the Foremon hostel price level will make that a good deal...

Last idea was to fly CPH-LHR directly and just join the team at destination. But last OneWorld flight out of LHR direct to CPH is at 16:10 (!) . Not much of a party for me!
Well, I can always take the QR-route and leave LHR at 20:30, and arrive in CPH 12:40 (+1). At least I won't need to book a hotel for that one!!

Well, there is one more solution. I can book a non-OW airline to and from LHR with better timing and combine that with a fully flex oneworld ticket for the lounge access (which I cancel before going home) but this is getting a bit too elaborate...

I saw that Nicolas Feuillatte does excursions to their premises. Maybe something for the next DO after January?

Ok I snatched 11C both ways ^

By the way that is amazing deal.. for ~66€ you get +6 hours flying, 3 segments and access to lounge in 3 different airports.. It's still available if somebody is interested.

I also need guesting in LHR for the "real" lounges.

Yes, price if great!

Going to ARN is a bit challenging but just working with that.

It's Sat morning so AY is the only option and that AY643 is not available with campaign W -price.

What do you consider expensive? If you take a morning train to ARN (assuming that's possible?), you can get to HEL and back for 930 SEK with only one hotel night.

A multi-city ticket is only slightly more. ARN-HEL-GOT at 08:40 on saturday and 08:25 on sunday is currently showing as 947 SEK.

Thanks for trying! I'm sounding like a whiner...

Train to ARN is 6h so no way getting there in time on a saturday morning. Trains are notoriously late in Sweden and by JAN there might be some snowflakes on the tracks, leading to a 100% break down of train system.

There are no domestic flights to ARN this early on a saturday morning. GOT arriving 08.00 is the first and I might not make the the terminal change and security in time. (plus the early morning drive to GOT)

The only europeean flights arriving into ARN T5 in time to reach that ARN-routing is from KEF (FI), HEL (AY, DY) and TLL,TKU,VAA (SK). Can't reach any of these without a overnight stop.

So the ARN route is out.

However, there is a hidden tip for Mr LGG in there. Maybe he should go to ARN via RIX on that saturday morning. Get up early and fresh, with the nice sound of propellers on dash8!

OH, Rix and BT...

It's segment time now and I have no segment to waste with BT. And I hate early Airport mornings.

This is getting more and more interesting day by day.
Unfortunately can not make any extra commitments for January yet.

<höpö höpö>
Are you sure they are not enforcing AY+Plat/guest limits ('cut' in golf lingo) in either of the Lounges ?
</end höpö höpö>

Actually SK does not work at all because in winter time flights start a little bit later than usual (TKU & VAA) or start not at all (TLL) on a Saturday.
