There are two sides to that argument.
He adds it to cover himself from lawsuits.
He adds it because he's lying about the whole affair.
The truth is somewhere in the middle and we'll never really know where it is.

So he's presenting the fact that he got threatened on this flight. He's making it clear he's not saying it's a fact that you're all going to get the same treatment whenever you fly with them which would open him to a lawsuit very easily.
Now we're just arguing small points in the video. I still stand by my original post of this was totally unnecessary escalation by the purser, especially after the passenger that complained was also chill with it when she saw the footage had nothing worth getting crazy over.

No fuss from the staff AND a more honest review because the crew doesn't know they're being reviewed.
Obviously it took 2 to tango. But he can only control his actions. And he could have avoided the situation. Hopefully he's learned his lesson.

I've reached a point w/youtube airline vloggers that if the trip report begins w/a nice big closeup of their face I downvote and click out. Airline reviews are about airlines and airliners, not about your hair. Dan is younger than I am. I see his overall patina of behaviour to be overweening and precious.
I watched the first Kuwait video, just to be able to say I made it to the end. The breathless, "I'm uploading part two in exactly 48 hours and xx minutes," might work for some.
What staggered me was his claim during his flogging of whoever his sponsor du jour was, was that What's App and other services are banned in Kuwait, WHICH IS A LIE.
Finally, does his airborne vlogging contain the air he needs to breathe? If the purser is acting in a negative fashion, put down the mike and phone, and have a kip. Or maybe open a bloody book, and shut up. It'll save you trouble down the line.
Of course I was no stranger to getting in the face of authority when I was younger, but I would've drawn the line w/the purser of a Middle East airline. It seems Dan was provoking the situatiion for clicks...
Just mes deux centimes.

He thrives on hyperbole and that's why I can't watch his content anymore.

Of course non-stop Dan is stuck in Singapore atm, but refuses to take an economy flight to get home safely (that would be totally beneath him), so he'll opt to wait 2 weeks for the next premium seat.

That video was cringe and he got deservedly roasted in the comments. I unsubscribed. He's been getting whinier and more clickbate-y the past few years.

Many content creators are posting content about the current situation so they continue to get the required views/clicks. There is a ton of influencers living in Dubai who are churning out content ... an influencer roaster posted the best one yesterday: the young influencer talked about how stressed she is with all the rockets hitting her new home country and then pivoted to a wonderful new probiotic supplement she discovered that really helps her cope with the stress

Those who click/like/subscribe are condoning all this nonsense. Stop the clicks. Stop the likes. UNSUBSCRIBE.

NonStop made the Daily Mail today.
An aviation influencer who told viewers he was trapped overseas by Middle East flight chaos is facing online ridicule after it emerged he remains stranded because he refuses to take an economy seat.
Airline reviewer Daniel Goz, better known online as Nonstop Dan, posted a video telling his more than one million subscribers that he was unable to return to Europe from Singapore following widespread airspace disruptions tied to the war in Iran.
The original title of his video proclaimed: 'There Are No Flights Left' and featured Goz stating that he was 'stranded in Asia.'

He has now reposted his 2025 top list of economy class cabins. I guess damage control without admitting he needs to do damage control....
Not that I watched it, but like so many other airline review videos, it popped up in my recommended videos
