Worked very well for me on BR35 and BR215. Best part was that it was free as I have a Boingo subscription. Was using Spotify the whole way on both flights.

Wasn't aware that Boingo subscribers get free inflight wifi with Eva. Which plan does it require, and do you remember how to access it?

My wife and I qualify for both the American Express subscription and the Mastercard one. When you get to the page to login, there's a second page you navigate to where you select the Boingo option.

We are flying TPE-JFK in about a month's time...how reliable does it tend to be on this routing?

I flew it a couple weeks ago and the coverage was typical. There were a few hours it was out during the middle of the flight.

Purchasing a 24 hour wifi, has anyone had problems logging on to wifi on second flight within the 24 hour period?

No. I use it frequently between SFO/JFK-TPE-SIN and vice versa. No issues logging in on the 2nd sector.

Not true. I use it all the time without issues. But, I do tell my parents that Wifi sucks when I’m on the plane when I don’t want to reply to their emails!

Not sure what happened with his service. I dont email him and he had other emails to reply and could not so he was pretty frustrated with the wifi service. All i know is that hes not getting eva wifi on board, at least not for that route.

I've had some pretty lousy experiences with the wifi - seems to correlate with when the plane is full.

Actually received a survey from EVA about the wifi today via e-mail. Haven't opened it yet.

Wouldnt suggest purchasing Wifi beforehand just to say a few $$. A friend of mine did exactly that, only to find the flight's wifi wasnt working(announced that it wasnt working).

I use it for my LAX-TPE-MNL RT. Its been working for me 85-90% of the time, usually losing connection, just before the international dateline. The first time I used it, it was pretty spotty and not reliable. I took screenshots and photos of the map and web pages not loading and after the flight, I email the customer service at t-mobile and got a refund.
