I was afraid you were going to ask me that. Since I usually don't stay in the 5th District (the central part of old Budapest) I can't provide you a good list of the affected properties.

Here is a website that lists some of the 5th District hotels. If there's one your particularly interested in, I'd do some legwork to see how far from the construction zone they are.

Mariott Budpaest is undergoing a major bathroom upgrade. They are upgrading all the bathrooms in every room, construction should be finished by March 2014. I have just stayed one night there, the noise wasnt that bad.
