Transportation into Paris

Mrs. GoSpurs and I will be arriving into CDG on an Air France intraeuropean codeshare as Y pax and leaving three days later as AF first class pax on a Delta award to the US. We have taken the RER train into and out of Paris before with metro connections, etc., but there must be a better, more comfortable way that is still somewhat cost efficient. We're staying about a block from the Gare de Lyon train station. I'm not an AF frequent flyer. Any suggestions?

One of the Air France buses goes to Gare de Lyon and is 1) more comfortable, 2) cost efficient. It should fit the bill perfectly...

It is line 4 (Airport - Gare de Lyon - Montparnasse) available from:

CDG2
Gate C2 if you are landing at terminal A or C
Gate 3 of the concourse level for Terminal F or E
Gate B1 for Terminal B & D
CDG1
Gate 34 Arrivals Level at CDG1

It basically runs every 30 minutes from 7am to 9pm

The fare is
12 EUR one-way
18 EUR round-trip
6 EUR for childrem 2-11 Years
Free for children under 2, Frequence+Rouge, Club2000

in need of more paris transportation info

I will be making my first visit to france near the end of may

going from Iad to cannes to check out the end of the Cannes Film Festival

from there i will head to Monaco
a) i assume there is a train from Cannes to Monaco

then will heead to Paris
b) i assume the train from cannes will drop me off somewhere with easy subway/metro access to get me to my hotel
will have a 4 days there, and the last 3 in the Renaissance La Defense

flying out of cdg to iad
looks like an easy subway/metro connection from the marriott

am i correct?
thanx

Train schedules for France, including trains to Monaco, can be found (in English) at:

You can easily check Metro schedules for Paris, also in English, at:

Sorry for the late action, folks, I've been really busy with work. I'm putting this one in a more appropriate forum.
