Travel insurance Ukraine
Hi
For a conference I need to travel to Lviv, Ukraine. The organisers told me to take out travel insurance but I was wondering how insurance deals with the war situation. While Lviv is not really in dangerous territory, I don't want to get insurance only later to hear that it isn't valid.

Speaking from a UK perspective, insurers here normally have an exclusion where they won't cover in cases of travel that goes against FCO advice (which is currently ALL of Ukraine) so (again from a UK perspective) you would need to find an insurer that would specifically cover this, which I imagine would also be at a high premium.
