Torun to Sopot (poland)

Will be driving form Torun to Sopot (setting off from Warsaw...), with kids.

Any nice places to stop on the way ?

Thanks

Take the highway and exit to Gniew - there's a medieval castle on the riverside. If you haven't planned your accomodation yet I'd recommend Kania Lodge. It's just 40 km from Sopot. It's located on the lakeside and it's really perfect hideaway from Sopot's noise. Not the cheapest but owners and atmosphere are charming.

Good tip. I managed nearly to drive into the Vistula around there 10 years ago. Pay attention to the "car falling into river" road signs. I nearly didn't....

Trip Sopot-Warsaw

Thanks - eventually overnighted in Torun, which was good - one of the nicest old cities I have seen in Poland.

We are heading back to Warsaw on the E7 - would be glad for any ideas along this route :-)

Thanks

D
