Why does EY have long turn around of planes?
It was more a random observation, in London EY flights seem to have long turn arounds of flights, for example A6-BLZ performed EY25/26 It landed at 3pm yet its return flight was not until 9pm at night. QR/EK/BA even generally have a quick turn around even 2 hours on some QR flights yet EY takes so long yet atleast yesterday it still had delays our of LHR.
Do they have crazy money to burn or just are really poor on the ground?

It all has to do with scheduling ( for example BA flights stay on the ground in South Africa all day ( morning arrival, evening departure) as the airline feels an evening departure is more beneficial
For EY , they could turn the plane around in 2hrs but a 5pm dep from LHR would land in AUH about 0300 in the morning whereas a 2100 dep from LHR would arrive around 0700 or so. I think some Cathay pacific flights also have long layovers at LHR

Etihad can only use the slots that they have; they can't just arrive and take off at any time that they please.
Etihad currently operate 4 daily services into and out of Heathrow, with the arrival and departure times dictated by the slots they hold. The plane that arrives at 15:10 cannot depart until 20:55, because that's the time their next slot is up.
BA has almost 52% of all slots at LHR, so it's not a fair comparison.
If they still had crazy money to burn () they would probably try to buy better slots. Pricing details are scant, but back in 2016 Oman Air paid $75 million for a pair of morning slots from AFKL.
