Irregular Travellers: Etihad Guest or Another Program ?
Hello everyone,
I have just booked my parents on EY Business Class (fare bucket: Z) LHR-AUH-SIN return. Realistically they will probably only fly this route once or twice a year maximum.
Should I sign them up for EY Guest or do you think a program such as AA would be better taking into account redemption options / miles requirements for redemptions ?
Given this is Z class and the distance travelled is roughly 14,100 miles, both EY Guest and AA would generate around 18,330 miles which is not much.
Thanks in advance.

I would go with either Aeroplan for 125% or AA for 130% depending on where you plan to redeem. If they are LHR based, AA redemptions on BA/IB maybe better.
Aeroplan will give you access to SQ out of SIN. I find EY Guest miles having poor value for the most part
