Not sure I understand - if you mean EY103, I think that's still the middle-of-the-night 3am'ish departure and that will leave directly from Terminal A. If nothing has recently changed with AUH CBP. 101 requires a bus, last I read on here in the new terminal thread.

I had thought that the 787 aircraft change on the JFK route was to make F available on all JFK flights (A380 & 789) and, unless I'm mistaken, the 789s with new J don't have F?

You are correct, this is only familiarisation flights, JFK will get a 3 class 787 and 388 serving it, IAD will get the new 789 with J config. im happy to be giving it a go next month
