Does Eithad flexibility apply to changing return origin

If I book Etihad economy Bangkok to London return (on their website), flying this week (consider it done) and returning in ~3 months, can I change the return destination to say Singapore or Kuala Lumpur nearer the time should I so decide to do (personal or covid related)?

This isn't clear from the COVID policies published, essentially changing BKK-AUH-LDN-AUH-BKK (typical return iternary) to BKK-AUH-LDN-AUH-SIN (more of a multritrip) if required?

I called a week or so ago with a similar query about a cancelled flight ticket I have - MAN-AUH-SIN-AUH-MAN. I asked about their claim to change destination in the same zone for free.
Q: Instead of SIN what are my options?
A: If my original destination was BKK I could change to HKT for free as they are both in the same zone (country), similarly NRT could in theory be swapped for NGO but not ICN. You can actually change to anywhere but there will be a fare difference, no change fee if before 30 Nov. Usual EY clarity.
