Counter EK close to DXB... ...and LH probably sees an opportunity to dictate terms to EY given their financial woes and the government unwilling to cough up too much... ...question is whether strenghtening competition to EK is feasable politically between the rulers of Abu Dhabi and Dubai...

I wonder if current affairs will change this? Not much to fear from EY and with other airlines shrinking, having another partner is always helpful
