Invountary Downgrade
Should have flown in F HYD - DBX this morning. There was an aircraft change from 3 class to 2 class. Was told when i checked in that i would be compensated. Mentioned on board to the purser that this had happened last year on a BOM - DBX flight and i was given a denied boarding F class voucher for BOM - DBX - BOM prior to take off. Was told not to worry everything would be sorted in Dubai. Have had a phone call from Emirates saying that i would only get compensation on the difference between F and a full fare J class ticket. This will probably work out to be worth bugger all. I was told that as i had accepted the downgrade it was not considered to be a denied boarding case. Does anyone one know exactly what compensation should be due?
