September would be really good, my daughter is coming over for last two weeks. The 50% would be most welcome for her to upgrade to biz.

why dont you try and Id appreciate it if you tell me if u can get any date between 1 july and may 09

when one pays for F one should be entitled to use those points earned to claim an F award -but I would not be so stupid as to think that Emirates would allow one to use points for something that they want
. so Have decided to give a J class ticket to an elderly friend of mine but alas. no seats.

I dont sit here dangling on your every word.
actually im so disinterested in Emirates that I hardly pass by here.except when im really board!
and no 3rd nov doesnt suit me *(its not F)or my friend(she my be dead by then
also one does have to get back
so any returns at all with like a week or 2?
but was that the First flight you could get on from July 1??
enough said
and you certainly must have some sort of computer to do it that quick from 1 july.
and as you have to search day by day as do the service centre it almost takes 1.2 hr to search a couple of months.
certainly a very antiquated website.
just used some more useless pts to upgrade some friends from akl to syd.

I started on 1st November (in between your dates), and got 3rd November. And yes, I do have a computer, it's how I post on here.
So, please stop you constant whining.

Convenient that you started 2 days before the first available flight

the airline is obviously very special to you-but not to me or anyone who actually expects to use their points approximately when they require not when the airline requires(like for mths later)
even Qantas has a better record than that

and are you the post police here?

You have to be flexible - it's no good thinking that the whole world revolves around you just because you've flown in F a few times.
Try getting a BA award to SYD from LHR. Pretty difficult unless you are flexible and prepared to break your flights.
Emirates are not perfect, but your constant whining goes past the point of being irritating.

There you go again spouting rubbish... who says that is the first available flight? If I'd have started on July 1st, maybe I would have found July 3rd available. It took me less than 2 minutes to find an award flight - which you had previously stated was not available.

certainly faster than Emirates Skywards as they have to check day by day and couldnt find anything.
and BA have F syd lhr available 15th and 16th july straight thru and that didnt include CX or QF flights.
and with BA Qantas and even AA I am not confined to returns I can just order a one way.
so totally more flexible than Emirates which is why I state again forget trying to get a 50% of award then a full price one is almost always unavailable.
and for those of you wanting an economy award try every day for a couple of months and only premium economy price award available whereas BA has scattered eco at normal award rates.
