Retroactive credit miles

Hi Guys,

I recently traveled from JFK to LHE on EK 202 and EK 622. However, I was unable to give my Skywards number because my friend was checking in for me while I was somewhere else in the terminal. Anyway, I called up the Lahore Skywards office to have these miles credited to my account and I was told to go to the Emirates office with a copy of my ticket (which i was able to get easily from my travel agent). However, when I went there they refused to entertain my requests as I did not have the boarding card stubs from the flights. I was specifically told that as long as I have a copy of my ticket I would not need these.

Does anyone know where Skywards stands on this issue and how I should go about trying to get it resolved?

Thank You

I have always been asked for boarding card stubs and sometimes (in addition) tickets.

You can try talking to Skywards customer service but I'm sure they will ask for your ticket stubs. Otherwise, you can try the online missing miles claim form on skywards.com

There is Hope!

Hello JK,

Recently me and my two family members travelled from KHI-LON on Emirates. On return I thought I'll have our miles credited to our account.

All I did was call the Emirates office in Khi and gave them my Skywards number and our E-ticket number. I was also told that with an E-ticket, if there are any missing miles there is no need for Boarding passes even though I had saved them for the day. I was given a confirmation on the phone for all 3 pax that the miles have been credited. I checked online 5 minutes later and there were posted!

So you may be in luck if you had an E-ticket.

I've noticed that not all agents know this so while you're on the phone tell them that you have an E-ticket and that you don't see why you need the boarding stubs. It may work and the agent may learn something new!

Good Luck!
