Gift Miles?
I'm leafing through my account at the moment, and all of a sudden, I see a facility for giving miles to other accounts. And I thought that Skywards miles were non-transferrable! Is this permanent? I haven't heard any brouhaha about this feature at all.

It is true!!! Go to the "purchase miles" tab while you're logged on to skywards, and there's a facility called "gift miles" where you can give skywards miles to anyone. The catch though, is that one can only receive up to 25,000 gift miles in a year.

Keep in mind that only purchased miles can be gifted.
You can't transfer miles from one account to another.

I had this little burst of excitement a while ago too Sadly this is only useful if you are buying miles for a friend
