Bush is giving all of $35 million for the earthquake disaster. That is about the cost of 5 minutes of the war in Iraq. How stingy can one get ??
So, miles are needed to help those victims and families abroad get home to bury their family.

I think people are just giving an excuse to rid themselves of miles they will never use... but unfortunately the only airlines that have such donation programmes set up are the US carriers.
FT has set up such a programme where one can donate miles from your US carriers' accounts. However I question the usefulness of such a programme?
