Double tier miles would have swung this for me as I have a couple of trips in Feb and March which would have got back to EK Gold. But alas, QR fares are significantly lower so I will stick with them.

Yes i think the double tier miles offer was for flights departing UK only. I priced one of my trips departing from EDI instead of DUB (to tryout the new A350) but the price difference was over 1,000 more so it wasnt worth it.

I booked a route that qualifies in this promo for double miles (even showed the offer on flights page) but now in manage my booking it just shows earning the standard miles. Im assuming this is just a glitch? or does anyone have better experience of this?

T&Cs are unclear as it also says "Any from/to Emirates or flydubai origins/destinations"

My take is that it is just poor wording. But I am considering trying it as I need to book a CPT/UK return. Seriously considering ditching EK though, as a J Saver now costs significantly more than a F Flex a few years ago. Madness!

Also unclear, what happens with date changes. Do you still get the double tier.
I am keen to book a few flights out of DXB/SIN but not sure if the promo will apply

Be sure to read any terms and conditions very carefully.
I recommend contacting Emirates and getting written confirmation (e.g., via their chat facility) that any promotion applies to the flights you plan to book.
I recently encountered an issue with a promotional email stating:
"Register and book by 4 February 2025 to earn double Tier Miles on all your flights until 30 November 2025."
Given the number of points at stake, I (believed I had) thoroughly read the terms and conditions. I booked a First Flex return flight from Christchurch to New Zealand on 3 February, flew out on 11 February, and returned on 19 February. This should have earned me approximately 60,000 bonus Tier Miles.
After not receiving the bonus miles, I contacted Emirates and was informed that I wasnt eligible for bonus Tier Miles on either leg because my outbound flight took place before 15 February. However, there was no mention of this date in the promotional email.
Emirates has yet to provide me with the applicable terms and conditions, but I found those from a previous double Tier Miles promotion. When interpreting them in the context of my situation, its clear that they leave a lot open to interpretation. They even include a clause to say the award of Bonus Miles is at the discretion of Emirates Skywards. I no longer trust their promotions.
