Fare Components Question

I had a return ticket SEA-DXB-JNB-WDH, and got stuck in JNB in mid-April because of the flooding in Dubai.
All sections were business class, with JNB-WDH-JNB on SA (but on the same Emirates ticket).
The inbound flights (SEA-DXB-JNB-WDH) went fine.
On the reurn, I was downgraded on WDH-JNB, and then booked my own flight back to Seattle.
What does Emirates owe me? They are willing to refund the unused ticket portions: JNB-DXB-SEA.
Then there is the downgrade from WDH to JNB (aircraft swap).

Can anybody decipher the codes below, and give me (approximate is fine) refund due?

Are you looking at the straight refund and downgrade compensation or looking for more because of the disruption ?

I filled out the refund form, and they offered ~$900. That seems low.
They say that no downgrade compensation is due because a portion of the ticket has been refunded. Twisted logic.

There must be a way to parse the fare components to see what is due. (?)
I flew:
1. SEA-DXB-JNB-WDH
2. WDH-JNB: downgraded to Economy
3. I did not fly JNB-DXB-SEA

#3 was 2 days after the floods. The JNB-DXB flight was canceled. The inbound had been canceled, too, so no way to get out.
Emirates suggested looking for other flights, and we'd get a refund for that. (ha! - different story)

I flew out on United that same night.
