HDMI Input
Hi all,
I have a question. I raised this with emirates a few days ago but yet to receive an answer. Anyone else noticed that there is an HDMI port on many aircraft types but that the menu option on the ICE to view your HDMI input has disappeared? I flew on 5 flights in the last weeks and raised this with multiple staff. No one knew how to view my iPads content on the screen in both business and first all the way to the game changer and latest A380 config. Seems a software update of the system doesnt allow for it anymore? My iPad recognizes though that its plugged in.
anyone have a similar experience? I have to say I had a year gap of traveling so I dont know when it stopped working.
thx

I used the HDMI port yesterday with my macbook on a gamechanger flight.
I just plugged it in, an Emirates message popped up on the screen to accept or decline you will not break their T&C with regards to piracy and safe content then click accept and it started working.
I will admit thats the first time I have used it in many years but worked for me.

Same thing for me. I feel I am pretty tech saavy and I was able to get my iPhone 15 plugged into the monitor on the Emirates A380. It even shows up as a screen on the phone, but there is no way to switch the input on the monitor itself to HDMI.
