Sadly now JNB not getting the new F either. Instead it will be allocated to EK41/42 (LHR).

Good luck for the poor passengers flying to BOG.
They will have to disembark in MIA, go through immigration, collect their lugages, make a new check in and go through the security....all together they will have about two hours...
There used to be a transit area in Miami. Once transferred there with Iberia. Maybe they can reactivate this for Emirates.

Is Bogota the highest elevation destination in the Emirates network?
Prices are very steep ex MIA, but much cheaper ex BOG

Crazy that EK thinks someone will actually pay them $9K for a one-way MIA BOG F ticket but hey, maybe the bloggers will start begging people for donations. Just wait for EK to ban Josh Cahill. LOL

Is there usually a delay in being able to book a Skywards ticket on a new route? It will let me search cash fares, but not an award ticket for PNH.

The website does not show PNH as an "Emirates city" yet, which I think is the issue. BOG is the same. You cannot even search for an award booking to BOG or PNH.

Edit/Update: Emirates website will not allow you to search for PNH award flights, but Aeroplan does show the flights and availability which is kind of funny. EK 348/349 to/from SIN is available on Emirates website to book as an award flight. I think I will try to phone Emirates to see if they can book an award flight to PNH.

Could you also share an update after you call, I was so happy they fly back to PNH.

Call center confirmed that PNH is not available for award bookings yet. Same for BOG.

I don't get it because there is award space available on Aeroplan, very odd.

EK346 KUL downgraded to the 77W from Apr 1
EK342 KUL upgraded to the 380 from May 1

I've always been curious if EK would try extending EK346 to continue on to AKL at some point. The AKL flight (EK448) does very well, but is regularly payload restricted.

The upgrade of EK342 to the A380 brings a new level of comfort and luxury for passengers.

The ICN flight that operates three times weekly has been retimed. New timings as of Apr 1 as follows:

EK324 DXB0750 - 2105ICN
EK325 ICN2305 - 0335DXB

Additional MED flights have been added as follows:

EK807 will have additional flights on Mar 25, 27, 29, 30, and Apr 1.

This will make MED served double daily during this period.

Some more Saudi capacity:

EK817 RUH upgraded to the A380 as of Apr 1

The A380 served this flight from April 2019 through March 2020.

Is this summer schedule, Eid-only, or permanent? Took this a few times in the last few weeks, and economy load was maybe 30% in economy at most? The entire back section was closed more than once ...

I just noticed that EK316/EK317 DXB-KIX will change from B777-300 to A380 starting June 2024.

Dammit CaptainEKAirbus, this seems to have been downgraded back down to a 777! (Shooting the messenger!) Just happened to check my next flights due to the double miles promo and I have found myself reassigned a middle seat on the crappy 777. Surely it is not a load issue?

Haha, I'll have to add 'don't shoot the messenger when things change' to my future posts.

I see EK370 has been downgraded to a 77W just for the month of May, with it returning to the A380 in June. Any chance of moving over to EK374?

Looks like an upgrade of EK85 (ZRH) to the A380 for April and May (ZRH double daily A380) is where your aircraft was reallocated. Unfortunately the A380 fleet still has little slack at the moment.
