Where is the error? Is it showing fare available and then when you select it, no flights? Or is it at final booking?
Generally speaking, if the website is not working, try the app. If the app is not working, try the website. But a call would also help if you are worried about grabbing a last seat.

Same error from website and app, even for dates the customer care confirmed availability and can book through chat( I want to book myself to use the 20% award flight for skywards+, which they told cannot do from their end)

They can book at the skywards+ rates if there's an error on the website. I did it already, also for discounted upgrades. Just phone them again and try a different agent. Also the chat sometimes is quite helpful and you don't have to stay on the line for so long.
