Flights from India
I'm a bit confused by EK's current rules. Can I (US Citizen) fly EK from India to the US? Routing HYD-DXB-JFK? Or am I not one of the permitted people on EK flights from India to Dubai?
What about after July 21st, when it seems the current restrictions are set to expire as per:
Last updated: July 12, 2021, 13:30 Dubai (GMT+4)In line with UAE government directives, Emirates will be suspending the carriage of passengers from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to Dubai until 21 July 2021. Furthermore, passengers who have connected through India, Pakistan, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka in the last 14 days will not be accepted to travel from any other point to the UAE.
UAE Nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas and members of diplomatic missions who comply with updated COVID‑19 protocols, are exempt and may be accepted for travel.

Hi SR,
- It seems that the rules are regardless of your Citizenship, since they want to avoid travelers from India due to concerns of CoViD ( Delta variant ).
- No one is in a position to predict what might happen post Jul 21, and a thing to bear in mind is that a lot of F-1 students flying to US have booked EK for Aug and are hoping for the best
