McDonald's and First Class
Presently on EK770 to Cape Town.
On boarding I walked through first class and saw a passenger eating a Big Mac meal. Our departure gate B27 was close to the restaurant.
I assume the passenger had bought the meal and it wasn't an effort by Emirates to cut first class catering costs.

Some people choose to bring their own food - and even pair it with the DP and other drinks offered. And why not.

As seen in this TR 777 New F - trip report and other posts on FT.

Also on the BA board (of course) https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...rst-class.html
Why does it bother you?

I think I'll pass on the fish eggs and chicken mystery meat combo. Now please pass me the champagne.
