Seeing the flight menu online

Hello. Im fairly new here so apologies if this is already common knowledge/been discussed before.
Me and my partner are flying to Tokyo from Glasgow In J. This is the first time flying EK (BA strikes prevent us from flying out of LHR. Were also growing tired of BA, I digress) and were not sure what range of food to expect.
Were due to fly out in 14 days, however when I try and find what menu is available for each leg of the fight it says it will be uploaded closer to the time. My partner is quite a fussy eater and if he could find out whats available then we could plan ahead.
What Im wanting to know is when is the menu available to view before the flight?
Ive seen a thread from a few years back that someone has posted a bunch of menus, however it was from almost a decade ago, and I couldnt find GLA-DXB DXB-NRT.
Thanks.

It might be because your flight is next month, so it may come available tomorrow. I have a flight in three days and I have just checked the app and it says the menu is not available but normally I can see it at least a week out.

Menus are always available in the month of the flight, so tomorrow it'll be available. As a guess you'll have a chicken or fish option, a beef, duck or lamb option and a third, possibly vegetarian, option. Also salad, dessert and bread. The flight to Japan will probably feature a Japanese main option

I do not know about the facilities at Glasgow but I have to say that the food in the Emirates lounges (especially the main one in Dubai which has a fabulous selection) was so good I tended to only want a nibble in the air with the exception of a good breakfast before landing

Same here... Have a big breakfast or lunch in the lounge. Then just snack in the on-board bar. Get something else when I get to Dubai (or wherever).

The Glasgow lounge has a reputation as being one of the best in the network and the food always hits the mark (even taking into account my personal gripe of too many curry/spicy dishes). The timing of the Glasgow flights mean it'll be lunch or dinner on the ground so I hope the OP's partner can find something to his taste. If on the early afternoon flight they also also have the option of snacks in the A380 bar once onboard.

Menu on the app was completely different to the on board menu for EK409 today. Not complaining, on board menu was pretty good. And as usual, the caviar was fab!

Glasgow lounge is superb; we get to the lounge well before the flight to Dubai 1.00 pm'ish and eat a hearty meal from the excellent selection and don't have much on the plane. We usually don't eat much in Dubai as it's the poorest lounges we've encountered; eat on the flight to and from Oz. We've only sampled the lounges at Glasgow, Melbourne, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Dubai and for our tastes I'd rank them in that order with Melbourne not far behind Glasgow. I have been caught out with trying to see the menus in the month(s) before flight; appear same month as said.

Speaking of Glasgow lounge, a member posted this snack on the first day it was open - sorry I can't quote the name of the poster. I suspect it was get a wide selection of what was available on the tray and take a photo rather than what was eaten!
