It seems that it is F-Class that has seen a lot of movement. According to my mate, J has been relatively stable in comparison.

A couple of months ago on the Emirates website I priced up for December LHR/DXB/DUR/DXB/LHR for two people in J with a stopover of three days in DXB on the return journey and was quoted Ł8800. Tried again last week and it came back at Ł4590 so I grabbed it.

Most certainly because J Saver became available. Your original pricing would most likely have been J Flex

Had two emails this morning with offers for MAN-SYD Ł250 return business class and MAN-MRU Ł1477 business return departing 20th June returning 27th June.
When I clicked get this fare it said it was redirecting me to the UK site and the fare MAN-MRU was Ł2708 which is more in line with what I usually pay on this route in J.
Are these offers aimed at the US market?

This is the notice I get:
>> You are being directed to the United Kingdom (UK) website to finalize this booking because your point of departure is outside the USA. Your booking will be subject to the terms and conditions of the United Kingdom (UK) website, which may differ from those of our US website. We recommend you read our United Kingdom (UK) terms and conditions carefully before finalizing your booking. Please note that your booking will be charged in British Pounds (GBP). <<
And then the correct fare is shown.
This is the first time emails from EK have said this.

With the demise of the AUD, F prices to Africa have gone from 12K AUD a year ago to almost 15K AUD now. It's mostly about exchange rates, but what goes up never comes down when exchange rates improve! The ratchet effect.

NYC to DXB R/T
I'm planning on taking a round trip flight (economy) from New York City to Dubai. I noticed the prices are running about $1050-1091 total (leaving Nov 20 and returning Jan 17). Is this the normal fare? If so, I guess I'll wait and book later. If not, I probably need to book now before the price increases. Anybody have any idea if this a normal rate? Thanks!

Thanks for your input. I'm still debating if I should buy it right now or wait. Decisions

Edit: I just subscribed for one month. Looks like lots of fare buckets even $500 lower than mine in the "saver" category. I'm going back to Emirates site and check out other options maybe codeshare flights too.
