I hope I am in the right place, I have noticed the new 77W service reduction on existing routes (such as STN, FRA etc.). Due to the DXB construction, seems they will use A380 for those routes instead. Which routes will EK put that shiny new 77W on?

The aircraft will spend a lot of time sitting on the tarmac at Yangon, hardly economic as it will be only in the air for 11 hours out of 24?

EK388 was crewed from Dubai and they stayed overnight and all the next day before bringing back EK389 (02.10)
The Yangon based crew took 388 out,stayed in Phnom Penh for a day before flying back to Yangon on 389.

This makes no sense. All crew are based in Dubai. I'd imagine if they don't want a crew to operate both legs in one shift and stay in Phnom Penh, then a crew will stay 2 nights in Yangon and do a round trip to Phnom Penh in the middle, just as they'll be able to do on 370/371 via Bangkok.

Code Share partner China Southern will increae DXB-CAN from daily A333 to daily B77W. They also applied for a second daily flight (which might not come).

Further they applied for additional frequencies on their existing DXB routes to Shenzhen, Urumqi and Wuhan.

I must have missed this.
Has EK377 BKK/DXB been cancelled from later this year?
It was my favourite day flight out of BKK but has now vanished from the schedule.

It's still there, only the timing has changed on the days I looked. It's now leaving BKK at 03:30, so maybe taking the slot freed up by the cancellation of EK418/419 to Sydney.
