I was really hoping for Opus One. This selection is really quite disappointing departing in F from LAX. Any recommendations? Most seem to also be in J.
The app also shows this one but not on the printed menu:
TIA!

Selections lately seem to be somewhat uninspiring in F compared to 2023. Hopefully they improve soon.. or has anyone has seen anything outstanding recently?

It should make a good pairing with the Tandoori Lobster

Question about DP in F....... I will be flying EK F for the first time next month. I happened to be looking at my reservation and clicked out of curiosity to see what they had listed for Wines. My HKG-DXB (on A380) segment is showing DP available, but on the DXB-ORD segment (on 777-300) it doesn't list any champagne options..... is this simply a website issue, or will there actually not be any champagne on this second segment. Thought with EK having exclusive rights for DP, that an international long-haul flight would have DP as an option.

The Champagne situation will change (certainly on board) and there should be at least one decent red (although, unfortunately, lately I have see more lower level AND off vintage Bordeaux…). You’ll find the better stuff in the lounges at DXB so check that out during your connection. It’s also a much better environment to appreciate the wines.

Ok, we are dealing with an absolute disaster in the wine department...
From what I can see and based on my recent flights in F... EK have officially ditched Chateau d'Yquem and replaced it with Chteau Suduiraut.
However I have seen one thing that I am very excited about and that is the addition of Chteau Smith Haut Lafitte blanc 2013 to the wine lists to Europe and America's routes which is amazing!
