Flying Emirates, earning on Jet Blue: possible?

I'm flying Emirates and trying to earn on a partner airline since I virtually never fly Emirates and so, Emirates miles are useless to me.

On my ticket page on the Emirates website, I see:
"You can also earn Miles with our partner airlines. Edit your frequent flyer number."

But when I do so, I see a message that says:
"Miles are not earned on partner frequent flyer numbers."

When I put in my Emirates FF, it instead displays the miles I would earn. I'm assuming the first line means one can fly a partner (Jet Blue) and earn Emirates miles, but not vice versa? This site suggests what I'm asking is possible, but I see no way to do it:

Anyone know if I can fly Emirates and earn Jet Blue points?

Yes, you will earn True Blue points if you use your True Blue number.

Perfect, thank you for the links, johhn14.

I called Emirates and they said I won't be able to earn on Jet Blue because it is an "Economy Saver" fare, but that I will be able to earn on Emirates. The Jetblue page that you sent says otherwise, so I'm going to check with them again.

I earned 50% of Emirates miles flown (on an economy saver fare) to my JetBlue account in March. So unless they have changed their rules in the last month you should have no issues.

Thanks, Kamalaasaa and johhn14, that was very helpful and reassuring!

TL; DR: the JetBlue miles for my trip have already posted despite the Emirates website indicating the contrary.

This is what happened:
- Emirates website claims I won't receive miles on Jetblue
- An Emirates agent said the same thing
- I called back with the links johhn14 posted, and asked to speak to a supervisor. Supervisor was very knowledgeable (and very nice), and checked internal docs, declared the website incorrect, requested an internal website fix, and assured me miles would be earned on Jetblue.
