Unless, as you suggested, they let them disembark via the front stairs.

I agree - the amount of times I've had to do this in F this year

It's hard carrying my bags, wife and maids down the stairs.

Yeah and you have to watch those pesky y pax held back by the crew like wolves trying to go for some prey! :D

1/ You carry your wife ? I thought it was only in fairy tales, or honeymoons :D:D
2/ Your maid(s ?) travel with you in F ?

Completely different lifestyle from an upgraded J who is always complaining. Pardon the daring comparison. :D:D

On EK you may carry a falcon as well between Dubai and certain Pakistan destinations.

Used to be all across the GCC iirc.

Only on itineraries involved in the USA - there is a separate Conditions of Carriage for all USA itineraries that include ADA provisions that is not present in the rest of world Conditions.

Also technically miniature horses are acceptable ADA animals, incidentally.

If you have a seat horse as an ADA animal and fly BA will they charge you for the water if you want to freshen it up?

Only for hot water.

Had my first 2 class experience travelling on a 2 class A380, travelling J on EK372 DXB to BKK.

It was a pretty full flight, all cabins well filled, and it was the least J experience boarding or disembarking I've ever had (and that includes the stampedes at Doha for EK).

It wasn't by the fact it was at gate C5 - the furthest possible gate that doesn't involve a bus (though I was in the newest J lounge at Gate C9). I also happened to have arrived at C5 from LGW a few days earlier - it's as if EK are trying to get me to exercise

I left the lounge when they recommended, and when I arrived at the gate the gate holding room was already full, so they weren't processing anyone else. There wasn't any signage for priority boarding at all. Stood for 20 minutes before they started boarding, with the priority calls going out for those in gate room - no use to me as I was still outside it. I didn't push on through - just not me - we're all going to the same place etc. but the Business product should have been set up appropriately.

By the time I was through the boarding gate desk they were already calling a number of zones. No upper deck boarding at C5, so up the stairs I went, to pretty full economy cabins that I had to negotiate my way through.

It took ages to board, and wasn't finished off very well when I arrived at my seat and a cabin crew member bluntly asked me to move seats as someone else wanted to sit with their travelling companions. They wanted me to move to an aisle rather than window seat so I refused - he told me they were both 'window' seats and I just looked at him!! Then another of the travelling companions offered to swap, who had the bulkhead window seat, so I was happy to do that. However the crew then didn't not the seat change, and I kept getting the wrong name, and talked to like I had made the move on purpose! anyway.....

Disembarking at BKK - no upper deck bridge - the entire upper Y had disembarked before J, and most of the lower deck Y through the second downstairs airbridge had as well. Thankfully the premium immigration was great for a change at BKK so I got past them all.

So for me - avoid 2 class A380's if at all possible. No J experience on boarding/disembarking at all!

Any good? Haven't seen any reports on here of the new lounge, though lounge attendants at C last year told me about it being built, didn't know it was open already!
