Not sure if this has been mentioned, but EK will reduce its ZAG daily service to 5 weekly after Croatias high summer season.

I had EK207 booked for DXB-JFK on Sat Nov 18 at 15:00 (1h50m connection), continuing on from PER-DXB departing 06:00
Was just changed on me to EK203 leaving the following day at 02:35 for a 13h25m connection.
Looking at their site it's not showing that flight now so seems they've removed this route/timing. However leaving Perth on the 10:20PM EK421 would line up for a 3h5m stopover instead for a similar routing as the original.
Seems this was done in some other months including June..
"Emirates during the month of June 2017 is reducing nonstop operation on Dubai – New York JFK route, currently served 3 times a day. From 04JUN17 to 30JUN17, service will be reduced to 2 daily, as the airline cancels EK207/208 service. The airline will also continue to operate daily Dubai – Milan Malpensa – New York JFK route."
So not sure if this is a flimsy routing, totally retired or what.

Interesting to spot this early morning that JNB is getting a 5th additional flight on the DXB-JNB-DXB segment only on the 8th and 9th of December , it seems it is only a two class 77W as EK.com or expert flyer won't give me any F availability or provide any seat maps.
Flight is operating as EK2675 on the inbound (DXB-JNB), departing DXB @9am and arriving in JNB @ 15:20. Then EK2676 on the outbound (JNB-DXB) leaving JNB @ 17:00 then arriving in DXB @ 3:00am. Pretty good timing on the inbound for folks based in DXB imo.
However pretty strange for EK to be doing this ? Excessive demand or trialling the option of how well a 5th flight work on the JNB sector.

Due to demand - start of the Summer/Xmas school holidays in SA. JNB will be an absolute madhouse on those days. Bet the respective fligths from DXB to JNB will be pretty empty though.
