I was of the impression that EK did not offer Kosher meals.
Last time I saw anything about this the official line was the UAE does not recognize Israel as a state so we do not offer meals as required under Jewish Law.
I have always been careful when flying on EK not to wear my Star of David or Yamulke - nor have my Israeli passport on the booking.

The most popular route for Kosher meals is JFK-DXB.

Benylin contains alcohol ( I suspect that that's what actually works rather than the antihistamines in benylin)
In fact my granny used to give me some brandy when I had a cough and cold and I used to feel better as soon as I had it.
Coming back to topic, AFAIK the UAE does not have any problems with Judaism. Otherwise they wouldn't have served Kosher meals on EK. I have met several people practising Judaism living in the UAE. Holding only an Israeli passport might be an issue.
