names on ticket

Hello folks,
I bought two one way business class tickets AMS/DXB/DUR through Expedia. Everything seemed to go through okay but then I noticed on the Emirates website when checking my booking that both our first two christian names were merged into one long name. The surname is correctly shown. My confirmation from Expedia shows our names in the correct way so whatever has happened occured between them and Emirates. I did phone Emirates (noting date and time) as soon as i noticed it and was told that, as long as those names show on our passports, which they do, then there is no problem. I still feel a bit twitchy though. One reads that airlines can be pedantic over this type of thing. We don't want some 'jobsworth' denying us boarding in AMS. Should I double check with them do you think?
Thanks

I think that you will be fine. The EK IT system has a number of oddities and the itinerary document they send out typically has the format Pomkiwi/FirstnamesecondnameMr Never seems to cause any problems though.

all airline system and gds' dont have a space between the names so you'll be fine. I guess the Expedia confirmation is "handmade" from another system which can include a space between the names. you wont have any problems
