I kind of hope it's an early morning one (ex CPT around 8am to coordinate arrival with the 9:15am departure from JNB), but I think most likely it'll be a late night, 8pm or so, for the morning connections. I can't see them squeezing in another mid-afternoon one (between 1:30pm and 6:30pm, maybe a 4pm?)

So LON still has more flights than BKK!

damn, no use to me then, though I was spot-on with 8pm! For India routes those timings aren't very helpful, unfortunately.

I knew the Construction of the EK lounge in CPT had something to do with a third daily service , it would of been great as skywardshunter said if it had been an early departure ....

Tim Clark says A380 to stay in IAH
 

I read that Tim Clark said in recent interviews that the A380 will be kept on Houston, despite the light loads, no change to 777. Any confirmation on this?

“As you know, we switched it off Dallas and put it on to our Washington service because clearly the oil and gas sector in Texas was suffering.

Based on the EK online schedule B77W planned to IAH from 1st July until the end of winter season.

As it stands now PEW will be the only route to be served with an A332 in March 2017.

6.35 departure is a killer. Unless you leave the night club at 4am and go straight to the airport:)

NCE will soon be upgauged from B77W to the A380.

Excellent news. The nonstop flight has better domestic connectivity than the flights via Australia.

Assuming SQ resumes A380 for northern winter then there will be 1-4 A380 at AKL for much of the afternoon. Not good when there is only 2 gates with dual airbridges.

EK448/449 DXB AKL DXB has been upgauged from B77L to A380 in the reservation systems starting 30OCT rather than some time in December as previously reported.

Getting in early before peak summer to secure slots maybe?
