The best defense is a good offense -- certainly a principle the Gulf airlines like to apply with the ridiculous claim that the US airlines are "subsidized too" -- but this takes the cake. So you've been caught bribing FIFA officials millions of dollars to get the World Cup, and your ethics and business integrity are called into question.

Its also racism when you allege that a member of one specific ethnic group must be behaving the same way because another member of that same ethnic group did something bad.
This particular news story from this morning not only alleges wrong doing in Qatar's bid but also in Russia's 2018 winning bid.
All of this has nothing to do with the topic of the thread except to further exemplify and clarify the OPs own prejudices in initiating this thread.
