Premium Pricing
Some interesting pricing at the moment for routes through to Asia from Europe for January. 2100 from LHR seems about the norm for EK, EY and QR in Business which isnt too bad compared with this time last year.
However I noticed that if I go to Asia from Paris that the price goes down to 1250 on QR, 1350 on EY and 1800 on EK. This is a big spread.
Why is Paris so much lower for these others. I would rather travel via LHR but I can use BA miles to J to CDG and save 800 pounds on one flight.
EK must be having good loads from Paris.

Just did some price searches and got the following:
LHR - SIN (J, Return)
1908.09 GBP
1020 Fare + 628 Carrier-imposed charges + 260.09 Tax
CDG - SIN (J, Return)
2275.53 GBP
1673.73 Fare + 510.09 Carrier-imposed charges + 91.71 Tax
1 EUR = 0.7970 GBP
I just took the top cheapest fare. Same dates used for both scenarios (two week split in February).
Substantially lower tax for CDG, yet a higher fare.
