77W ICE query
Hi Guys
Hopefully someone can help. I am taking 4 77W flight in the next 2 weeks and I'm a bit confused by how the aircraft are rostered.
For example, one of my flights is EK773. If you run the "check entertainment on my flight" tool on the Emirates website, it says "ICE digital widescreen". But if you look at this flight's history, it appears that some of the days it has been operated by A6-EB* aircraft (which I understand to only have ICE?). I even did a check ON a particular day and the website said widescreen but the aircraft didn't have it.
Another example is EK139. If you check that flight number on the website, it says "ICE", however, this flight seems to be operated quite frequently by A6-EN* aircraft which not only have widescreen but also the NEWER widescreen product!?
So is it safe to say that the online checking tool is very unreliable? Or have older 77Ws been upgraded that I am not aware of?
I'm just completely unsure of what to expect on my flights
The best one can do is watch FR24 for the incoming flight to see which aircraft it is. I wish the Emirates product was more consistent...
Maybe someone can shed some more light on this?

Yes, the A6-EB* series are a bit older, prior to the upgrade to ICE Digital Widescreen that started with the A6-EC* series.
Expert Flyer provides more detailed codes (see the fleet guide in this forum), but equipment changes can happen last minute.

Where do you see that on ExpertFlyer though? Whenever I look it always just says 77W as equipment, but can't find any other codes similar to the ones on the Fleet Guide?
Edit: Nevermind, found it. Thanks!
