Chauffeur car at LGW and rules?

Hello all.

It is only the 3rd time that I'm flying to LGW (usually a LHR regular but LGW had D seats this time).

I'll be 17 when I land at LGW (Christmas Day) - will I be allowed to use the chauffeur or is it only 18 and over? Is it as strictly enforced there as it is at LHR?

Also, what car do they use? I know LHR is an E-class so is LGW the same?

Thanks :)

You tell them when you want picked up (within reason). If you want more time in the lounge than go early, if you want to rush through then go later - up to you.

You should be able to do this on line if you have your PNR.

Chauffeur drive is now available in Chicago.

Just call customer service or reach out to @EmiratesSupport on twitter.

chauffeur car extra passenger allowed?

Hi,
The family might be flying Emirates with one person in business, and 2 in economy. If we call for the chauffeur service to pick/drop off, will they take everyone? Or just the business class passenger?

I've only done this for one pax not two, but as long as there isn't too much luggage and it easily fits into the Volvo you should be fine.

I'd go to the desk get the voucher without your friends present. Then when you are escorted to the car they can follow you and I doubt any questions will be asked.

Buisness class chauffeur in singapore or just F?

Hey folks, does EK provide a chauffeur service in singapore for buisness class pax? Or is it only for F class? I recently noticed that in Hong Kong they only supply it for F.

Thanks paddy

No restriction mentioned on website so it is safe to assume that J class is included.

I have a chauffeur booking in Singapore next week for a miles upgrade Y > J.
Booked it online.

I live in Singapore and have used it many times when travelling in J with EK.

Just booked a J trip out to SIN, chauffeur is provided as has already been mentioned. Just haven't booked a hotel :)

Thanks for your replies folks, I was just a bit confused as the website didn't specifically say it was for J and F.
Since we are on the topic of Singapore anyone have any hotel recommendations or even best areas to stay?

There's a ton of discussions on that over at the Singapore destination forum, but in general, it depends on what you're looking for, budget, etc...

Reasonably priced, business friendly hotel, I preferred (before moving full time) the Quincy. Its tucked back a bit from Orchard, so not the easiest walk to the MRT when super hot, but includes free meals and happy hour, as well as free laundry and internet, with a great staff.

Luxury, I would recommend the Fullerton Bay, the Mandarin Orchard, or the Shangri-la (though not the one on Sentosa, unless you plan to mainly hang out in Sentosa).

For local fare, any of the hotels around Bugis or Chinatown will do you well.

Again, I'd hit up the Singapore forum on Flyertalk for much more, as the hotels in Singapore and best locations is a hotly debated topic.

Hello guys,

Is the chauffeur service per passenger or per PNR? My PNR has 2 names and we will be heading to different places upon landing. Ideally we would like to have 2 cars.

For info, we will be flying EK F DXB-SIN so my question refers to arrival in Singapore
