Can I access the lounge

I am flying into DXB from SIN in F (first time in F ) and I will arrive at 1 AM on the 30th of April. My connecting flt departs on the 1st at 10 AM. Do I have the right to lounge access in DXB until the morning? Call me cheap but I'd like to avoid paying two nights hotel.

Lounge access is dependent upon your onward (as opposed to inbound) flight. So, if you are continuing in either F or J, then yes you would have access to the relevant lounge.

But have I read your post right here as regards arrival & departure.... ? Are you seriously planning to stay in the lounge for approx 32 hours .....??

The DXB lounges are very pleasant places for a couple of hours or so ; but personally I just can't imagine wanting to stay there for that length of time !

Each to his own I guess - assuming there are no restrictions in place re such an extended occupancy.

I love the irony of flying first class then declaring yourself cheap and not booking a hotel! Seems like the incremental cost will be fairly small for at least a night in a hotel.

I knew someone was going to say or at least think this. The flight is company paid from our home leave budget but the hotel is on my dime. I am already paying for one night but I don't want to pay another night since we wouldn't get there until 3 in the morning. Especially if we can crash I the FCL for a couple of hours.

Continuing in F after a 33 hr stopover. I am gold so I have access when flying but my question is do I have the right to access immediately after my inbound when my next flt is booked after a DXB stopover and not as a connecting flight.

And no, I would never spend 33 hrs in the lounge

IMO, no as check-in for that flight has not opened yet, the earliest you can use the lounge is 24 hours prior to departure. But, if you have a BP for your onward, then probably yes?

AFAIK though if your connection is >24hours 1 minute Emirates won't keep any checked baggage in the system so you'd need to collect this and recheck back in?

This is my experience also. You will have to collect baggage and leave the airport with a >24h connection.

I have done connections <24h with checked-through baggage where I have accessed the lounge on arrival for a few hours, then used either the terminal hotel or walked back through connection security to enter Dubai and use a hotel there.

But the readily available room services with benefits would increase the cost somewhat.
