Receiving physical skywards card
Hi,
When I made silver status Emirates sent me an email asking to confirm my address to send the card, but it never arrived. I didn't bother following up because I knew I was going to make gold status fairly soon. Having achieved gold status recently I have received no such email and am convinced the same thing is happening. Is there somewhere in the airport you can pick it up? Or at the Emirates office in town or something?
Thanks.

No way to physically collect as far as I know. You might want to log in and print out a copy of your card and call them on phone to inquire.

Does your phone number match the country of the address you've given?
A few years ago, I had (within my Skywards contact details) an address in Dubai (office), but had a UK phone number (mobile) - I never received a card, when I rang and inquired as to why, they explained that my phone number didn't match the country of the address. Changed my phone number to a Dubai number - received my card a couple of weeks later.

So according to Emirate's page, after completing two round trips, I would receive an email asking about the delivery process/address to the card to be sent.
I'm aware that most members had problems with that in the last few years. Is it still happening? Why won't Emirates deliver? I sent an email half a year ago and haven't got any reply from them. I traveled with other airlines, and after the trip, they immediately send me the membership card without hesitation.

Just received my gold card via courier. I had been in and updated my contact details a short time prior though... My silver card came in the normal mail about 1.5 weeks earlier than the gold pack. So my suggestion is to log on and update your profile even if it is still the same info... take something out and put it back!

Thanks for the info Susiew237 and kuroko!
I will try to update my profile and see what happens. If it fails, I'll call them or talk in a few weeks as I have a flight scheduled soon.
