Lugguage Allowance

Hi there,

I don't normally travel with luggage in the hold, but on my next trip to the UK I need to bring a few things back with me - incl a new suitcase I have ordered.

I wanted to check the weight I am allowed and on MYB I have a different allowance coming back than I have on the way out.

Is there any reason for this?

DXB-LGW it shows 30+16 = 46kg
LGW-DXB it shows 40+16 = 56Kg

I am not complaining as its the return I need more allowance it just seems odd. Both legs are in economy and I am a gold member.

Any ideas why its different on the different legs? This may be normal as I say never really fly with luggage especially to the UK.

Seems like an error. I am gold and only get 56kg when in J.

The correct allowance for you should be 46kg I believe.

Thanks, OK error it is! But thanks for confirming what it should be.

Just to add I have just checked my e-ticket and it has 30KGS on the depart and 40KGS on the return!

I doubt I will get close to that but will take a print out just in case I do!!
