A poor student like me cannot afford such luxuries
Edit: The article says anywhere in the world. Interesting..
Edit2: It holds up to 19 passengers, but it only has ten suites?

I phoned and spoke to a Customer Relationship lady who even proffered what sounded to be very good value hourly rates caveated with a "but I am not sure" - $4,000. She told me that they did not have a dedicated team that she was aware of but would get back to me - in true EK fashion that was the end of it ...

Quite, which is why I stated that it sounded very good value - but was obviously wrong and to be fair was caveated by her statement of unsuredness that I mentioned.

It can fly for up to eight hours. That rules out the Americas, Australia, and parts of Asia.

For Australia or the Americas, yeah a refuel stop on the way is no big deal. Having to refuel to go to London or Tokyo sounds like a bummer [to someone with no international private jet experience], given that other private jets could take you nonstop.

It is probably part of the Dubai Air Wing anyway in all but name but they want to keep up some pretense that it is not because it really belongs to EK on paper. The external colour scheme seems to me to be closer to the Air Wing than it is to EK. A short while ago I tried to get a quote to use it for a family trip to Kiev and never got a response ... I would be interested to hear if anyone outside of the "inner circle" can actually hire it.
