early check in at SIN?

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help.

I have a flight booked with EK from SIN to DXB at 9.35am,

I am landing at midnight the night before and want to know if EK will take my bags early as they will be checking in earlier flights that leave early am.

If I can drop my bags off at 1am will they accept them?

I was hoping to go airside and buy lounge access as opposed to waiting landslide?

Otherwise would it be 3-4 hours before the flight?

Many Thanks

Try to get your bags checked through at you point of origin. Even though I was on two separate tickets Silk Air checked my bags in in Lombok through to my emirates SIN- DXB- MAN flights

They should have no problems interlining the bag for you as Malaysian and QF are both interline partners.

Should that be ok? I am transferring from Mh to Qf flight numbers but Mh to ek metal?

It's so confusing this interlining rule as there are no definite answers. Later this year I am flying ba Mia to lhr. I had to add on a separate flight ba lhr to fco with 4 hours connection time inbetween. I called to confirm I could get the bags checked all the way through and ba wouldn't confirm it,

It's hard to get a definite answer from the airlines

Also now we are flying Bne to sin on qf flight number but ek metal. Then separate ticket on Mh, will they through check the bags from bne?

Why can't they make a hard and fast rule. Something in black and white? Or maybe I'm asking too much
