Do I qualify for STPC?
I am booked this week SIN-DXB-LYS in J and taking the 0140 departure from SIN. We have a 9h35 layover in DXB so shouldn't I qualify for the STPC. Its not showing up in manage my booking?

Please let us know what the response is.
Although I agree with Dave Noble's interpretation of the rules, there are reports that EK will refuse STPC as you could have taken a later flight from SIN.
There is also a clause that STPC is dependant on fare paid.

Actually, since the beginning of this month and the website redesign, I am seeing Dubai Connect offered on itineraries that in the past used to be denied for that reason. And the T&C seem to have been updated as well.

I have sent a letter to Emirates due to my connect booking no longer appearing on Manage my Booking. This was confirmed online and lucky enough i have a copy. I have a 11hr stopover in DXB, travelling fom Perth to Lisbon. Despite an early flight being available Emirates were still offering hotel accommodation on the later flight, hence why I booked the flight. I don't know where I stand now, but assume Emirates must still have a contactual obligations to provide the hotel accommodation. In the event Emirates try and wiggle out of it can anyone tell me whether their misrepresentation would subsequently make the contract we entered into void.

If you are concerned, just pop into the EK office in Perth and pick up the voucher ( plus save time on arrival into DXB )
As long as your connection meets the criteria and you have booked it, there isn't anything to worry about
Looking at the schedules from PER-LIS in May, unless you are on EK421 which only has a 4 hour connection to LIS, then you are eligable for STPC ( subject to being in an eligable booking class )

I think what happens is they do some maintenance or something and it disappears, both from our reservations and from the booking engine (if you try to do a booking where Dubai Connect should be offered you will see that it's not available). But it's not a worry, all the info you entered is still there and once the system is back up and running you'll be able to see it again and everything will be fine

From the Ts and Cs:
All Skywards redemption tickets except Saver Economy (i.e. Ticket must be 100% Flex fares) are eligible for the Dubai Connect offer, . . . .
