Emirates Website Problems

Since Friday 29 or so, Emirates website ticketing has had serious issues with whole parts of the year showing 'no availability' on certain routes.
There are other issues too.
See;-

Seems like their upgrade has messed things up.

Yes I found this too - I had serious probems trying to get flights up that were a decent price, or with my usual 3 hour stopover - the site kept coming up with 14.5 hour stopovers and also offering me J class for one way and Y return.
Also whole months showed no availablity.
I tried again the other night and managed to get a decent timing and price but at the moment I'm not inclined to book a flight with EK via their website until it settles down.

I wanted to calculate the miles required for an upgrade and wasn't able to use either the earning miles or the spending miles links on the website. However, I found this link which seemed to work....

I am getting this error when trying to book a reward redemption

"Sorry, there are no Qantas flights on the dates you selected. Please change your dates and try again."

Strange

Just to add,

I am looking for flights out of Brisbane to Heathrow on 3 or 4 June. The EK site is showing no availability across all classes on all flights.

Do I assume this is a website problem or is there festival I am unaware of going on. It is a bit early for the returns to be booked out by returning supporters from the Lions Rugby tour as that hasn't started in OZ by then!

PS. Interestingly, to answer my own question, the same flights are available via Qantas so perhaps it is the site.

I have finally been able to book after 10 days and a few emails to/from Emirates.

For those that are trying to look at prices/availability the 'search by price flexible dates' didn't work on our route KL-MLA (except for one week in the year!) , and initially the schedule search always bumped you to business class for the return leg. Then that was solved, but the price was still higher that that given for the same ticket quoted in the available week in the 'price search'

Again that has been solved and the prices are aligned, albeit +$60 compared to before the website upgrade. I believe you should need to know the ball park figure for the fare before you commit.

quite a few issues with EK website this week, "technical problems" when searching flights are becoming a bit too common in a way that was uncharacteristic of their website...

It's always horribly slow, but it does seem to have got worse in the last week or so.

The page with the refund form on it was unusable for me on several occasions during yesterday...

I was just thinking yesterday how much better that change flights search has become. You can directly choose to search for same day different time etc and it appears to be more consistent at spitting out a price online.

Problems with Emirates website

I have been trying all day to manage my booking on Emirates website and I keep getting the message "Having technical problems" . Is anyone else having an issue to?

What browser/version?
In the past I've had to use Firefox to book, IE wouldn't work well especially at the billing stage

I guess I will give them a call to see what's up. I was hoping everyone was getting the same message and I could avoid sitting on hold.
