CMB turnaround

I know there are a few who did a CMB turn-around

Anyone care to mention how easy/difficult it was and if any problems were faced. Looking to arrive at 8:30am, and may or may not have my BP at hand.

Thanks

Why I fly to CMB alot I've never done a same day turnaround. From what I've read on here it's a very simple process. If you dont have a boarding pass you just need to walk to the end of the pier and hit up the transfer desk who will give you one. You might find this thread useful.

KWI-CMB-KWI-MAN-KWI-CMB-KWI

The KWI-CMB-KWI legs all going and coming back on the same day.

I'll be burning through 3 seperate tickets/Refrences on two legs, would that be a problem?

I'll be doing a CMB turnaround in a week or so. Looks very straightforward, passenger screening is done at the gate and arrivals are directed into the same concourse as departures. Therefore... disembark, walk 20 yards, do the security dance, present BP... board aircraft. Depending on timing a visit to the EK lounge may be possible.

I assume the CMB-MAN (at least) is actually CMB-DXB-MAN?

Why are you going back to KWI from CMB to go to MAN or do you mean KWI-CMB-DXB-MAN-DXB-CMB-KWI?

Yes all on EK so will have to connect at DXB. Let me know how you get along on your turnaround.

The first flight to CMB is a positioning flight, and I need to get back to KWI due to a prior engagement before I set off the next day to MAN. The second time I am back in KWI is because I put a 2 week break in between mainly because the week before all this travel I will be in Europe (not flying EK) and only get back a day before my positioning flight. I also need to get back to work and do the last part of the flights (to CMB and back on same day) over the weekend.

I am doing a big chunk of it over a week or so, but let me be more specific since you guys asked, I color coded the different tickets, in total I purchased 4 tickets:

KWI-DXB-CMB on one ticket in J
Turnaround at CMB
CMB-DXB in F
Connecting to
DXB-KWI in Y
Stop in KWI for 50 hours
KWI-DXB in Y
Connectiong to
DXB-MAN in F
Stop in MAN for 30 hours
MAN-DXB in F
Connecting to
DXB-KWI in Y
Stop in KWI for 2 weeks
KWI-DXB in Y
Connecting to
DXB-CMB in F
Turnaround at CMB
CMB-DXB-KWI in J

Are the same big-discount ex-CMB fares available to MAN as to the USA? Maybe could have added an LHR-SFO-LHR leg on BA F for some AA/BA miles for cheap?

Haven't checked, as I don't see myself having enough time to go to the US this year (another plan ruined) so just did some searches for UK and EU. I wouldn't call this fare a big discount though, as I've seen cheaper ex-CMB before for similar runs. But it turned out cheaper+more miles than going F KWI-MAN direct.
