My outbounds from DXB were always on time a great improvement from 2011. I had two nontrivial ( more than 20 minutes) delays, once out of DEL and once out of BEY.

So how is the 63% OTD explained? The credibility of this blog is questionable. I would be interested to know the amount of airline representatives on here, esp given some of my other posts on the QR threads.

Again, I've lurked on this site since 2010. I fly 200k plus (flown) miles a year. Given many of the comments on this site, I beg to differ that many are frequent travellers...

My biggest moan with Emirates is poor timekeeping. Better recently but I think I had flown about 20 legs until I had one arrive on time. And the only way all these late departures arrive on time is because the timetable is so padded...

People have different experiences, and yours does not set the metric

I do not measure airline reps by " amount" but that aside for now, the problem with the EK corner on FT, IMO, is actually too little ( lesser?) formal engagement from EK!

Just come and meet us in person at one of the great DO we have every year. Then you could learn about the person behind each person's pseudonyms. You are in the region right? Just a hop from DOH!

Of course not, we are still waiting for Mr. Black to sober up from the last one.

Might explain why I'm top tier across 4 airlines / alliances and second top tier on numerous others....? Knucklehead.
And re my experiences setting the metric, I'm not the one issuing the real-time OTD figure - this comes from Emirates and is displayed prominently in EKHQ where the crew check-in for their flights. Again - why be a hater? My question is perfectly pertinent, and I am quite sure if you flew EK regularly you would be experiencing regular delays - the OTD figure speaks for itself.
