Booking Query?
I'm planning to buy a ticket from the UK to the far east transiting via DXB.
The ticket will be in J
One the way back I want to visit a friend at DXB. Therefore I am planning to choose a ticket with 12-18 hrs layover in DXB.My layover will be for less than 24 hours and I do not need the bag I have checked in. I will be visiting DXB with just my hand luggage so I assume that my bag can be checked all the way through to the UK
In order to get the chauffeur drive at DXB should I book the ticket using the multiple destinations section with a planned stopover at DXB? Or does any J ticket via DXB with a long layover get a chauffeur drive automatically ?
If I book using the multiple destinations section, will I be forced to collect my bags at DXB as it technically becomes a stopover? I dont need the bags anyway.

The only options are at the origin and end of the trip

Can I just walk to the chauffeur drive desk and ask for a car? What about the return journey back to the airport at DXB??

I phoned when I did this, as there was no option to do it online. Very quick and simple. Give them a call.

I'll contact them and book the car. I have done this before but I was flying on 2 separate tickets and it was easy that time.
I went through the t&c of ek and stopovers are covered anyway.
Once again I do appreciate the replies and wishing u all a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
